Olena Burkovska

Bio

Olena Burkovska is a Staff Mathematician in the Multiscale Methods Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. She has joined ORNL as a Householder Fellow in 2019. Prior to that, Olena was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the group of Prof. Max Gunzburger at the Florida State University and a visiting researcher at the University of Colorado Boulder. She received her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Technical University of Munich in 2016.  

Olena’s research interests lie in the area of numerical analysis, model order reduction, nonlocal and fractional models, and variational inequalities.
