Peyton Ticknor

^{Peyton Ticknor is the Division administrative assistant in the Computational Sciences and Engineering Division. She supports Dr. Katherine Evans. Peyton joined our team on Jan. 21, 2020.}

^{Prior to becoming Division Administrative Assistant, Peyton supported 3 groups within the Advanced Computing Methods for Engineered Systems Section. Peyton spent 6 years in the National Center for Computational Sciences Division working as the group administrative assistant in the Scientific Computing Group. She has over 11 years of administrative experience. Before joining ORNL, Peyton worked for 2 years as an Office Specialist at the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga. In her role at the Dental College, she supported the Dean, Associate Dean, Chair of Department, and many faculty members. After college, Peyton worked as an Office Administrator for Emptoris, Inc., a supply and contract management software company, acquired by IBM in Burlington, MA. Peyton has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Georgia. Peyton is a member of the American Society of Administrative Professionals and is on the Advisory Council for the Administrative Professionals Conference.}

^{Outside of work, Peyton spends a lot of her time keeping up with her young, energetic son. She also enjoys taking various exercise classes, planning trips to Disney World, cheering on the UGA Bulldogs, and exploring East Tennessee.}
