Bio
Phillip Lotshaw is a Postdoctoral Research Associate studying quantum computing approaches to optimization problems with Travis Humble. His research focuses on simulations of idealized and noisy quantum computers under current development. Before ORNL, he studied theory and simulations of quantum thermodynamics at the University of Oregon, where he received his Ph.D. in 2020.
